EC-Council Web Application Hacking and Security (WAHS). The course comes with the Break the Code Challenge, allowing participants to utilize a simulation to counter cyberattacks in real-world scenarios. Each section includes challenges like security misconfigurations, SQL injection vulnerabilities, directory browsing vulnerabilities, enumeration vulnerabilities, and opportunities to escalate privileges and gain access to privileged information. These challenges progressively become more difficult to make candidates think about taking multiple paths whereas only some of those paths are correct. The course is not limited to automated exploitation frameworks but also requires a deep understanding of various web application technologies and associated vulnerabilities.
A candidate can take the exam after completing the challenges and having a good idea on different techniques of enumeration and exploitation. The exam is a fully online, remotely proctored practical exam that challenges candidates through a grueling 6 hours performance-based, hands-on exam. The candidates who score more than 60% will earn the Certified Web Application Security Associate certification, the candidates who score more than 75% will earn the Certified Web Application Professional certification and candidates who score more than 90% will attain the prestigious Certified Web Application Expert certification.

WAHS Certificate is valid for 3 years. However, students can extend their certificates by participating in EC-council Continuing Education. For more information visit
